The motorway boot first appeared in 1969 as an update to our earlier styles which were based on British horse-riding boots such as the old Hunter and the 896 styles.
The Motorway boot immediately proved popular with the British Motorcycle Policemen, who were given an allowance to spend in the Lewis Leathers shop on boots, jacket (the 414 Roadmaster) and our 939 HP trousers. The polished finish meant that the Motorway boot was smart enough for ceremonial duties and practical for day to day wear on the motorcycle.

ALWAYS Open the zip guard strap before and after use. Fully open the zipper before inserting or withdrawing the foot. NEVER Remove or insert the foot if zip and zip guard and closed, this will damage or break the zip.
The 191 features a superior solid-brass zipper for long-lasting wear, three back straps for extra safety and an inner strap to grip your trouser legs to prevent them riding-up and bagging at the knee.
Made from premium highly polished Bull hide means that these boots are in a class of their own.
