A well cut weatherproof leather jacket. Lumber style in black or tan. Zip fronted with two large patch pockets and an inside breast pocket with zip closure.
Smart yoke-style back and fully adjustable cuffs; lined with warm tweed. A really fine jacket that will give genuine satisfaction and comfort in wear.
Modelled on a practical jacket made by D Lewis Ltd during WW2, the Lumber jacket is made from high-grade chromed sheep leather in keeping with British jackets of the era; the waistband is part leather and part elasticated to exclude drafts. The main zip and pocket zips are all Lightning brand and are in keeping with the period. The burgundy tweed lining has been dyed to the same colour as the original and we have recreated the elasticated ribbing to the correct pattern and colours.

We take pride in making our jackets to the exacting specifications of the period in which they originated.
Great care and attention to detail has been taken to maintaining the heritage and integrity of our jackets and patterns, right down to the custom made reproduction zippers and even the linings. Because of this, our jackets do not necessarily live up to the present-day riding safety standards and are not intended to do so.
