Mechanic Boots No. A10
Lewis Leathers is proud to present the newest addition to its range of sturdy motorcycle footwear. The Mechanic Boot is based on the 1930’s ‘engineer’ style boot that was originally fashioned over an English Riding Boot last and worn by land surveyors and train and telegraph engineers. Later the style grew in popularity with the younger generation and motorcyclists due to wearers such as Marlon Brando in the 1953 film The Wild One. |
Whereas the engineer boot has since evolved in the US to be wider with a rounder toe, Lewis Leathers has retained the original slim elegance and even utilises the Goodyear welt construction used in the earliest examples to ensure long lasting wear. |
This unlined boot made in jet black polished Bull leather provides protection for the foot and shin against abrasions from the heat of running engines and exhaust pipes. The clean styling and minimal seams make our Mechanic Boot well suited for motorcycling but also smart enough for everyday wear. The adjustable buckled leather straps across the foot and at the calf ensure a perfect fit. Unique features such as our gold embossed logo and top expansion placket in Lewis Leathers’ trademark red help you stand out in a crowd. Be assured that the stylish and comfortable Mechanic Boots No. A10 will protect you from all elements and deliver many years of complete satisfaction. Made in the UK
