The Roadmaster has an ample length of 31 inches (80cm) depending on your chest size. Packed with features, the Roadmaster boasts four capacious, press-studded pockets for all your needs (the two top pockets also have zipper closings under the flaps) and an interior zippered wallet pocket. The front zip flap features press fasteners to help insulate against the wind. The fully adjustable collar is lined with corduroy for warmth and a quilted sailcloth lining will keep you snug on the coldest days. The stylish tailoring of the Roadmaster also includes a smart, all-round belt to complete this practical, great looking jacket.
The Roadmaster first appeared in 1973 as a Lewis Leathers top-of-the-range all-weather trials and touring jacket. The mid 70’s saw the introduction of the Mk2 version, the same jacket but with the addition of shoulder and elbow padding. The Mk2 was quickly adopted by many of the British motorcycle Patrol Officers, the added epaulettes allowed for the application of the Police riders numerals. Both styles (Mk1 without padding, Mk2 with padding) are still available today. Please state your preference when ordering.

We take pride in making our jackets to the exacting specifications of the period in which they originated.
Great care and attention to detail has been taken to maintaining the heritage and integrity of our jackets and patterns, right down to the custom made reproduction zippers and even the linings. Because of this, our jackets do not necessarily live up to the present-day riding safety standards and are not intended to do so.
