The Roadmaster first appeared in 1973 as a Lewis Leathers top-of-the-range all-weather trials and touring jacket. The mid 70’s saw the introduction of the Mk2 version, the same jacket but with the addition of shoulder and elbow padding. The Mk2 was quickly adopted by many of the British motorcycle Patrol Officers, the added epaulettes allowed for the application of the Police riders numerals. Both styles (Mk1 without padding, Mk2 with padding) are still available today. Please state your preference when ordering. |
